NAS/Oso Bay is not happening.
Mullet very hard to come by. It took me 30 min to land a dozen of them.
We rigged up the sail line with mullet/shrimp and let it out there for 2hours and nothing not even 1 bite.
I agree that perhaps the Surf would be better.
Keep us posted on your findings... _________________ "Do not call my Jeep a Car ever again " |

Tried the surf near the north stix this afternoon. Very slow using shrimp and fishbites. Only caught one whiting and didn't loose any bait. _________________ E Pluribus Unum |

| My wife and I also hit the surf today and nothing but a bunch of whiting on shrimp/fishbites. Other rod had either mullet, cut whiting or squid and not even a touch. |

Thank You to everyone for the advice. We got to the bluff at0700 and commenced operation fish for the freezer. I didn't know that there is not a fish in a 3000 mile radious that would bite anything. I tried surf, bank/ wade fishing pier into gulf jetty into bay and pier into bay. As well as various live dead and artificial. My wife and I had a great time dropping a couple of dollars into the Bluff economy.
Thank you again and we will be back soon to hopefully get at least 1 bite.
God bless,
Mike |
