ive been fishing everychance i get and havent had any luck for about a month. i dont have a boat but i have kayaks and a 4x4 jeep. i cant get to just about anywhere. anyone had some good luck they wanna share. Smile Laughing

Throw your yak in the jeep and go to the backside of Mustang Island. Fish dropoffs or if sun comes out hit the potholes.

Its been slow for me also but take advantage of searching new areas with the kayak. Sometimes you have to grind it out. The fish I found would bow up on the topwater but wouldn't take it. Well I found one rat red to take it.

past two weeks we have gone we caught slams.. last sunday was a scienied slam. this sunday we got a texas slam plus a sheepie... Get yourselfe out of the summer paterns and fish deeoper water.. thats where they are..

thanks for all the help guys. i now have my boat ready to use and will be taking it out saturday( weather permitting). hopefully ill be posting up a good report soon! Exclamation
