| Just bought a pair of LLBean for my son. After reading all the reviews, I might buy another pair for my husband. They are only $59 (breathables with stocking foot) with free shipping. As for me, I still have my Cholas, no leaks and they are 4 yrs old. |

| I asked my secret Santa for waist waders. Bass Pro has White River breathable and good reviews for the most part. 89.00 bucks. |

I like the Redington CPX line of waders, all the bells and whistles as far as pockets and zippers but much cheaper than Simms. Great quality and the best thing is Redington offers a very good range of sizes so you are not stuck with having to buy a L or XL if you are tall and skinny just to fit your inseam but have enough room for two in the chest which is a plus for me since I like my waders to fit well! _________________ V/R,

| Check out the Frogg Togg chest waders. I think Roy's sells them. I have a pair and like them. |

| my hodgeman wadelites have held up longer than all the neoprene waders i have had. even though they are light weight, if you put warm clothes underneath, still pretty warm. just wish they were camo. |

when it comes to waders, you want durable and a great warranty. simms is hands down the best in both catagories. there are plenty of other brands (orvis, wright & mcgill, etc) that back their products 100%.
if you want first hand knowledge with waders, go down to bird island and/or marker 37 one morning/afternoon and ask all of the guides what they think. _________________ 'one does not know what is beneath the surface...' W. C. Prime |

I have a pair of Simms G3 I bought in 08 and have been extreemly happy with them. The only problem I've had is with the exterior metal zipper on the chest pouch start siezing up from corrosion from not washing them thoroughly after wading in salt water. I do rinse them pretty thoroughly, but salt water will eventually get to that metal exterior zipper.
I bought a pair of Magellan Mag2 last year and have not had any issues or problems with. At 99.99 you cant find a better pair of breathable waders IMO.
I believe Roy's has the "Freestone" wader that is a breathable wader with a big velcro exterior chest pouch for 199.99
On Cold days you cant bet your arse i'll be wearing my simms since they are a thicker ply material and save my Mag2's for days that arent as cold. |

I use Hodgeman Neoprenes and Magellan breathables.
The neoprenes are five years old and still no leaks.
Breathables only a year or so, but no complaints so far. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Hodgeman is WHERE IT IS AT my friend.
Sure you may not look as cool as those in the $300 Simms,
but I have the NEO and BREATH along with booties...5 yrs strong
no leaks other than my stupidity in letting the dog try to eat the fish slime off of them |
