i want to catch some crabs tonight or tomarrow...is the water too cold already?

Probably is, but try the deepest holes you can find and perhaps something will cling on. Very Happy

No the, crabs are still there in the channels and on the flates. Took some home on the 10th. gl

ahhhh another crab thread,,,,,,,,

Hey, an old timer told me he would keep crabs in his boat for when he hung a big ray and it wouldn't come up - even by playing your line like a guitar,,, said he'd tie a line to one claw, around the fish'n line, then to the other claw, let it slide down the line - crab tickled the rays back and off the bottom it went - anyone one confirm - you old guys....tyler,,capt mike,,, JK Laughing Laughing

Dang coach I am only 51! Why would anyone bring blue crabs along on fishing trip on the odd chance they might get a stingray they can't budge? Sounds like an urban fishing legend like the water skier running over a bunch of water moccassins and getting bitten to death. Very Happy
