Over the past few years of being a member here, I have had the opertunity to read many post. The good and the bad. All appreciated. One big topic has/had been "where are they at?". Well, the run is on here in the Sabine Pass area where I am currently working. Huge numbers and huge croakers. 2-3# range consistantly. Most are coming out of Keath's lake. _________________ "I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard is not what I mean." |

That's really good to hear, TP&W has posted a number of reports saying this was to be a very good year for croaker. I'm sure the bite will get started here soon, maybe durning and after this front due in Sunday/Monday this week. I don't know how much all the fresh water will affect croaker fishing in CC Bay or the ICW but I'll bet not much.

| IF, I wanted to fish for croakers, tonight at one of the Humble channel piers would be the place to be after that first mod. cold front of the yr. The long cement pier facing CC Bay would probably be good, IF you have access to the Base, tonight. |
