There are just TOO many different fish in the sea (and lakes for that matter) to resort to the 'lower end of the culinary' spectrum. Ain't about being spoiled, just realistic. If all you CAN catch is carp, and you HAVE to eat, then by all means. BUT, if you have even a little skill and can land something that you don't have to convince yourself is "edible", then I say spend the extra effort to make dinner enjoyable.

There is a reason why jack crevalle are so abundant..... Confused
