Finally no rainn =D......anyways i finished my class work and studied a good deal so i decided to take advantage of the weather and fish out back at my little honey hole =)...started at about 3 and all i had to show was this huge hardhead 20+

so i stopped with the cutbait until i felt it should be used =), i start digging around my shrimp and i find this...
Photobucket what is this? anyways...its about 5 and i see a group of bait running for its life so i threw in my only mullet put the head on one rod and the body on another 10 min later the bait makes it to my line and boom!
iPhotobucket its on =) faught it for a bit really strong strong red felt like a oversize real stocky...Photobucket needless to say the picture does no justice it was a beautiful red i couldidnt keep it wouldidnt feel right so i cpr'd...while i was dehooking this red my other rod pretty darn near broke in the rod holder i set the hook saw a BIG red floppin around in the semi-shallow water annnnnd then it spits the hook =/ put up called it a day =)

nice fish! That bait is called a sea lice, good bait for black drum, but i have caught reds on them also

Live mantis shrimp will mess you up. They can shatter aquariums and bust open a finger. Even dead they have razor sharp points.

That's a bad dude, but an EXCELLENT bait for red snapper.

So very true. Also called a Pistol Shrimp because it can sound like a pistol going off when they pop.
