its called the GOD COMPLEX, his office glows with it. I don't care i'll just get up and walk out. I have done it once already. I don't make people wait on me as I try to be a very prompt person, I expect the same in return, my feet and legs work just fine when it comes to walking out.

I'll drink to that IMS. SOME Doctors purposely overbook just like airlines, they don't give a rat's a$$ if you wait or for how long!!!

I'm very lucky in that regard. Our family doc has 4-5 partners in a clinic and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so after the appointment time, and I frequently get in earlier if I'm there earlier.

I have spinal stenosis too Stan. It's no fun! Yours sounds worse than mine though, I just have fairly constant mild to moderate stabbing/shooting pains above my tailbone when I'm standing, especially standing still for long periods of time.

I've been going to my second round of spinal decompression lately and it has DEFINITELY helped!!!! I'll do most ANYTHING before I'll go under the knife, ESPECIALLY on the spine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stan on the waiting thing.

I don't wait either. I have gone to the desk after waiting 10 or 15 min. Given them my cell number and told them to call me when they were ready. They look like they have been hit in the face. I have also walked out of a Dr. office because I just didn't like them.

Sucks to be them. Besides if you’re in pain you don't want to be sitting in that chair waiting. Now when I walk in and the receptionist tells me there has been an emergency that is a different story. I can wait for that.

That's all I have to say about that. Want a chocolate?

dr. frank fichtel is married to dr. lisa fichtel. in practice in san antonio. he is a neurosurgeon. she is an oncologist specializing in brain cancer, among other tumors. both are great docs and good people. don't know if either can catch a fish though
