Surprised no one has mentioned "La Playa " in Port A. Nice mexican with lots of differnet fish dishes.

3 types of different seviche - excellent. very small place but great food and service. Moderate price.

La Playa has very good Mexican food, but the original question was about a seafood restaurant. La Playa does have some seafood, but that's not their specialty.

Shells in Port A is awesome too! My favorite Port A restaurant to get good seafood is Beach and Station Street Grill. A little hole in the wall kind of place but damn good food!

Oddly enough, i cant think of a time ive had seafood while at the coast lol. The la playa in CC near the mall is the bomb diggity for mexican food. The best i think ive had yet over there. Never have been disappointed with the food. Sorry, i know they said Seafood, Heck take a burner....buy some fresh shrimp off the boats, get some fish fry, oil , butter milk and eggs and have an all you can eat shrimp fry for super cheap!

HT,
I think the question was seafood or good food of any kind. You are correct La Playa is a Mexican food place but reveiws in Urban spoon says best seafood in Port A disguised as a Mexcian food place. Not sure I would go that far but,,,

They also have fresh fish of the day specials. I had a great grouper fillet the last time I was there.

By far the best seafood is what you fix at home with what you catch. I have eaten some of the best seafood in my garage or someone elses. Good fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, can't be beat. That reminds me , I need to start catchin some fish for the october Fish fry. THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.......I LIKE MINE FRIED. Very Happy
