I spent a 9 days on the Florida Panhandle a couple weeks ago. I only got to fish a few times but did get to hook a couple of fish. Biggest was this Red snapper at 30" and 15# on the scale on a party boat. We got video of the fight which was cool. Felt good to get a big one because the capt. was making fun of my "fancy" gear. We were only alowed to fish 9 miles out because of the federal waters closed to fishing. Man I love offshore fisin and love Florida even more.

Mexico Beach

Little bit of waves. Waves are fun

My boy tearing it up

St. Andrews State park

My dad with a red I caught. He swam it back in for me while I was on the jetty.

Early trip

My Snappa with a fresh gaff wound

Our fish. My girl caught a nice Mangrove snap. My dad also caught 3 other keepers not pictured

He likes fish

Preparing the fish for the fry & BBQ!
