Woke up 1hr late,
Got on the water after 7, already pretty windy,
Water color was dark emerald green/slate green
Live shrimp w/ Lemon Rig
Hit the first spot, nothing, second spot nothing, then the third spot was getting some nibbles from bait stealers.
Then I had my first actual pick up and run, man it felt good to have a fish running and hear a little drag, and that power pro is pretty darn awesome.
Landed a keeper trout, ended up getting all four trout in pretty much the same area. one 15", two 16" and one 17". Had three other good runs but lost what ever they were.
The best part was around 9. I looked back towards the bridge and I saw the massive explosion in the water. It looked like Godzilla Farted in the water!!! It was insane, so like a true genius, I haul arse over there, and am casting the whole way. And I loose another good run. Then I see the most awesome sight i have ever seen in the water. Flipper is chasing fish up to ledge and just slaughtering them. And Flipper is in about knee deep water. Then I see several more Flippers out there and these things are doing like circles herding up fish. So I am really trying to get over there, yet keep an eye on my stringer, and am casting towards the middle of the circle. But no luck.
Pretty freaking cool.

Sounds like it was a fun trip. Best part is that you were done before it got hot! TFTR. _________________ HighTide

| Good report- my experience fishing is when the dolphins move in its time to change spots- the trout /red wont hit your bait because they are running for their lives. |
