winds gusting to 35 .. Its ok Ill just stay in a foot of water.. Im jonesing to go fishing I havnt gone in atleast 10 days! Anybody else feeling brave?

Fished in the winds last weekend and was very productive. I usually stay home when it is blowing like this, but not anymore.

I was out this morning wading behind the University and the winds were pretty brutal. I picked up some new DOA's, Spinner Baits, and Gulps and got skunked but I had to get my fix. Embarassed

P.S. I did catch a popping cork that washed up next to me Razz

Fishing in those conditions beats not fishing, plus, it's much easier to ease up on schools without spooking them. One thing for sure: you can DARN SURE cover some bottom on a long drift! Shocked

yep it was windy! Nailed a ton of hard heads and rat reds and thats it! but I stayed in the flats all day. im sure with the high pressure the fish went deeper but surf was up in the deep water! oh well beats sitting at home!
