| I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Red Tide had cleared out of Mustang Island. My wife and I are planning a much anticipated fishing trip down there, but just need to find a good place to fish. Any feedback is appreciated. |

I was down at Mustang this past weekend. No signs of red tide in the surf. I found signs of an old fish kill on the bay side and did not get a bite fishing in that area but did not experience and red tide while in that area.

I went on 10-25-06 water was rough but slightly clear. no signs of red tide and a whole lot of fingermullet in the surf. this was north of packery to the end of mustang, By the sticks. good luck!  ''TERMINATOR'' |
