You can go in at the new golf course at beach access rd. 1a and drive that beach in two wheel drive mode. I have never killed the pomps in that area like you can down on PINS but we have always picked up a few, especially this time of year on into April. |
I've fished that area near the golf course. Alot of whiting. Where are you getting the dune numbers from? Are there signs? I guess I missed it. All my surf fishing, only a few trips, have been between Packery and Port A. That's because of the easy beach driving. |

| Are there no bag/size limits on pompano? I just assumed there would be, but I'm not seeing any on TPWD. |
