Last year we went to a bait stand in Rockport. The Vietnamese guy running the stand sold us shrimp with no problem. When we asked for some mullet he just yelled at us "Toooo Wrrrrindy!!" then he went to get the bait. I guess you can only fish with mullet on calm days. Every time someone mentions fishing with mullet or fishing in the wind I just chuckle thinking about that odd encounter.

windy days.. well just makes it more of a challenge..
More of a challenge for us humans that is.. Little drop in temp and the wind will freeze you out..
just have to know the spots that offer some protection and that the fish are stacking up at..
my favorite hole for windy condition is right at lakwjer9h3mc 4hviudl vqejhr and over at a oifho qerit w;krjhy6f you get that.. Razz
Very Happy

The dark water canals are less windy and warm up quicker after the sun comes up.
