| txguntrader.com has a stainless 1911 colt mk IV for 575.00 the problem is it is in Jonestown otherwise i would have already bought it. If you have family or friends around that side of the state then.... |

| It is working fine it sure does kick like a mule!!!! I actually put a sand bag on my arm to shoot that rifle. I shoot a .300WinMag with a little recoil pad and it is fine but that 7mm is painful. I got the rifle to shoot like a 4MOA group which isnt to good but i think i need to work on the bolt lugs and it should tighten right up. My main name on this website is SNAPPER1 but i only know the password to that account at work. I dont know how to change passwords. I cleaned up the rifle as it was in desperate need of some TLC, it cleaned up fairly well! Thanks again. If that colt isnt sold by friday i am going to swing by and pick it up in jonestown. I highly recommend a 1911 like that. Especially for the price i offered that guy 525.00 but i havent gotten a response yet. It is probably sold already. |

I run those parts and I come down to Corpus on a very regular basis. I don't know the logistics of the purchase but I do carry my 1911 EVERYWHERE I go. I have made many beach runs with her. 45ACP.......that gun has got some major balls. I've owned many handguns over the years and I'm currently down to the 1911, a Walthers PPK .380, and of course my pride and joy.....the Colt Python that made father left to me. Oh yeah....and the Beretta AF 9mm. Sorry for the ramble but I'd be glad to help. From the looks of the Rat's avatar, I'm sure we would get along just fine. Maybe even a little Southern Comfort??? |
