Caught these crappie at Choke 1-30-09 on minnows. Lots of bites but they didn’t really want to take it. From 11 to about 13 inches. Only 2 had eggs but not fully developed. Grandson wants to go.

| First saw it in 2coolfisning. A guy was making them for sale but they used folding table legs and were too short and somewhat wobbly. I used "starboard" (Kind of expensive but very durable. The same stuff used for boat ladder platforms and some butcher cutting boards), a treated lumber stand so it would come up to the right height for me, and stainless hardware. If I had it to do over I would move the hole over a little bit or eliminate it entirely because the leg is in the way of the trash can underneath. I still have the computer address for the tables but it no longer works. |
