what is there to catch at red dot during winter on a night like tonight? i figured out how to get trout this summer when they had the lights on and i actually could catch consistent flounder in fall, but im 0 for 3 in winter. how do you catch trout, reds, flounder during the winter there?

trout , redfish , blackdrum , flounder , hardheads , stingray. Humble is a great place to fish. For the drum and reds fish deep in the channel.. good luck

Bluffer got it right - big ugly time. Was there about12-13 years ago when a sleet storm hit and saw the biggest ugly I've ever seen pulled in off that pier. Guy was plumb wore out after fighting that one in!

You can get just about anything in that channel with cut bait. And those big uglies are a lot of fun to catch. Very Happy
