Capt. Nate landed this beauty about 3:30 this morning on a corky. Weighed 4.4 lbs and went 46.5 inches

I think Capt Nate has this one in the bag. From what I just read the current state record is for a Atlantic Cutlass fish is 1.75# and 36" long
and was cetrified on 4/6/08.

That one is a stud Very Happy

Topdog,
I don't know about the state record, but Captn Mike says it's good and that's good enough for me. All I know is that IMS could get some decent filets off that monster for the next fry. Enough Captn Morgan and no one would know it from good ole fried trout!

What a ribbon fish!

Is it going on the wall? Actually, probably should, like at the state aquarium.

Thanks fellas. We went and had the fish certified today at Roys. I can see a battle brewing in the war among ribbon anglers. Total fluke although we did catch a lot of them. Obviously was hoping to set another record, but take what you can get I guess.

Lost two new in bag corkys hunting this illusive creature of the deep. Ouch!!

sweet ribbon regardless.. Capt Nate in the record books! That thing must of had some tugg to it.. You must of been using some good fluorocarbon to keep them sharp teefers from cutting your line..

Wow, I'm curious as to what you do with the fish now. That would look wicked on a mount. Congrats Nate.
later,
Ernie
