Today is my little girl Kendall's fourth B-Day. She asks me to take her fishing every time I go, and she says "when I get big, I want to be a fisher like my Daddy". She likes to be on the water and she loves to drive the boat. She caught her first trout, all by herself this past Summer. She has me put a duck decoy in the bath tub with her almost every night. I want to post a pic of something much more valuable to me than any fish. God has truly blessed us with a special treasure. Merry Christmas to all of you too, and Happy Birthday to my Baby Girl Very Happy

Great pic! Happy BDay Kendall!

I have 5 and 8 y/o's. People tell me all the time to enjoy them, as time flashes by. As the my oldest keeps pushing the boundaries (8 years old wanting to be 12), it's become very clear to me over this past year that these years are special. Take advantage of these years, kids just grow up too fast these days.

Merry Christmas to you too. Smile

The guys are right. Enjoy your children while they still love you. I have a 15 Y.O. daughter and I went from Hero to Zero in about one year. Now, instead of being the best dad in the world, I am an OLD A-HOLE that doesn't know anything and sucks the fun out of everything. You gotta love parenthood. By the way, I still make her go out on the boat with me. It's worth the bitchin' to know that I am keeping her away from guys like me Very Happy . Oh yeah, she still gets hyped and brags to all her high school friends (mostly guys) when she lands a big king, ling, red, drum, shark or snapper. I am hoping she is not too far gone.

you gotta love em cause somedays you want to kill em. parenthood is not easy. strive to endure, most kids revert back to their parents teachings at some time and become lovable again.

Great pic & a great job there Dad. Happy birthday to that girl!!

And heed the advice of how time flies by, so enjoy them while you have them. My little boy, my fishing partner, turned 27 in July! It was just last month we were slamming the trout in Emmord's, or so it seems.

All you young dads, soak it up while you can, cuz they'll be grown in the wink of an eye.
