They used to be dirt cheap and now they are getting pricier. I saw three at the Shriner Gun show Two Yugo models were pretty marginal and they wanted 250 each for them. One Norinco looked okay not great and they wanted 350 for it.

I sold the one I had about three years ago for 200.00 after I bought it for 150.00...... I'm kicking my self pretty hard right now.. Fun shooting guns that are pretty accurate and no recoil to speak off.. I used it for a lease gun to knock around in the jeep. You can add tons of stuff to just about any make... I noticed the prices jumping the last two or three gun shows.

Tyler,

I had a buddy with one, and I was never impressed with it. It funtioned fairly well, but they are not accurate at all. I guess they're only intended to hit human sized targets "somewhere" out to 300 yards, and that's about what I observed. We sighted it in first at 50 yards, and it was shooting about 1.5" groups at 50 yards.

you're right though.. they are way high, so ar AK's. Guns that were being sold for $350-$400 are now being put up for sale at $600+.

Not really looking for one though I saw them on Gunbroker going up in price. I spoke to my bro in law and of course he has one that is is great condition, matching serial numbers etc that he got for $89 dollars in Seattle when we were living up there around 10 years ago.

Looks like any and all assult style or type weapons will be gaining ALOT of value with the changing of our administration. I've been told there will be alot taken off the open market.
Just thought I could help you find one.

Ive got an sks...It is not pretty, but it goes boom EVERY time you pull the trigger. Fires super quick....very accurate with iron sights and the 30 cal bullet will hurt em even if you get em in the toenail!!

Thanks Capt. Singleterrry and OFTII. I think I will wait till the election dust settles. I think some of this price increase may be paranoia but then again they could be right. Wink

TT....I'm kinda feeling the way you are it could be an overaction but over the past couple of weeks I decided not to take a chance. I bought 4 new rifles and well over 1500 rounds of ammunition.

heck... I've been doing it too. I bought a new AR a few weeks before the election. I've been buying ammo too a couple boxes a week.

I think it's going to settle out though. all the manufacturers are still in business (for the AR's anyway). Gander mountain up here just got about 10 AR's about 5 days ago, and have since been sold. But they're still the same price for the M4A3 bushmasters.

I've seen a few fair deals, but they get snatched up quickly. I think some people are just trying to make some money off the current situation, which is fine... but I'm not going to pay double what a gun was selling for two months ago. As long as something is still a fair deal, I've been convincing myself that I need it pretty easily though Very Happy
