Finally I got some off time , I decided It was time to post some happy pics. Caught 1 red , 1 flounder, 1 drum, and 15 - 17in trout with about 20 throw backs. The flats were covered with redS and drum, most being seen along the channel edges. My friend Fred saw more redfish in Just one school than he'd ever seen before in his life. Problem was they had lock jaw we tossed a full arsenal at them, they would just move out of the way. That doesn't happen very often but it does happen . Thats ok because today the trout around those schools were feeding. It was a great day once again ,the water was clear, the winds were 10-15 and the salt and pepper, and pumpkinseed were plastic colors of choise.

34 incher, on 8lb test with a Rapala skitterwalker. Look no spot, there is one on the otherside.

The kill, yes i know, I can't compete with the Salty Angler cover this month.

a nice fat Red, full of small crabs .

The aftermath...a typical rats lunch. Redfish throat, trout fillet, and a flounder fillet, ahhhhhhhh...thats mmmmmmmgooooooood!
i like mine F _ _ _ D !!

I can't tell you how hungry that makes me now that I've actually stood in your garage and sampled your fare. Great report.

Awesome job on the red. Your plate looks friggin good.
Frustrating but still funny when those darn schools of reds and drum won't take your offering. My girlfriend's son was hitting drum on the head with shrimp and the school just kept on moving along, nice and slow. Mad
(It's really not funny at all, just frustrating) Mad Mad
Anyhow, nice catch there. good job.

Great report buddy... I also saw quite a few reds sunday. Most where lockjaw but got a few on a secret spoon bounced off the bottom and a bloody free lined mullet.. but like you said most just turned around and took off when they saw my offering.
