My wife got her first kill ever this weekend at the ranch. She took this hog at about 75yds with my 6mm. I am really proud of her and so happy she has gotten into hunting. She says she is ready to move on to deer now and she will be on the lookout for a nice buck. The second pic is a little blurry because it came from my phone once he was hanging.

| Congrats! That's awesome. I'm just happy my wife fishes with me once in a while. Maybe someday she'll come hunting. That's great you guys get to share that time outdoors. |

| Great job. If I can recommend anything, considering what you are doing with her is awesome, when she gets a chance at a buck for the first time, don't rush it... make sure it's a "for sure" shot. My wife dropped her first one and was pumped, then she missed a nice one the following year and has lost some confidence. That was in part my fault, I told her to take a shot at a buck down in a draw when only the front half of it's body was showing (it was a nice one and I knew time was limited, thankfully she just missed it rather than wounding it). Now that I look at it it was getting dark, shooting down hill, at a buck sticking out of the brush isn't smart. Since then I've noticed she's slightly hesitant, and I feel I'm to blame. Your doing awesome. keep the pics coming. I still love taking my wife, and now I can't wait until my kids get old enough to shoot |
