Well I finally finished the "Mullet Rod"
It's a 8 foot Calstar. It was made to fish 1/4oz to 1 1/4 egg sinkers with live mullet in the surf..
I didn't use a winding check so I formed a small piece of EVA and wrapped over it..Hope you like it..

Nice pole I dig the red, but is it lucky????

I wrapped a surf pole and on the first five casts I caught:
first cast: bull Red 46"
Second cast: Missed the run
Third Run: Two trout 23" & 28"
Forth Cast : Skip Jack ( then I switched the leader used the skip for bait and caught a 7,9 Bull Shark)

LOL Hoggeman

Nice rod , good attention to detail. I bet the mullet will be sleeping with one eye opened for sure now. Very Happy

Good work on the rod. I am sure you need another fishing rod like you need another rifle Smile

Very nice work, I won't buy a rod anymore that doesn't have red on it somewhere.
