NICE. were you fishing in the surf or the channel side? I rarely see any reports of the south jetty, its good to see fish being caught out there. _________________ I'm a Mawg: Half Man, Half Dog. I'm my own best friend! |

That is the same pup.. Roxy.. actually Roxy my dog caught the fish, but my girlfriend had to hold the red up..
and yes we did use a tag on that one.. not mine.. but my girlfriends..
Fishing south side, less crowded.. the other side was elbow to elbow with people.. Fish was caught on the surf side.. only thing caught on channel side were mangrove snappers.. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes. |

Nice fish and post.
Now that I've enjoyed eating a few, I no longer use the word "only" in front of the words "mangrove snappers." |

Seasoned to taste and double wrapped in banana leaves - over a charcoal fire for about 20 minutes. I placed them in one of those grilling baskets to keep the banana leaves from unwrapping.
I think they'd taste wonderful cooked any way you like. The smaller ones could be skillet fried or deep fried like you might do with a large perch. Many folks like their fish baked or broiled - like you might see with a Red Snapper.
I'd like to hear some other suggestions as well. |

Congrat's "lady snake". Good Pic !!! Not only can she catch'em but she can cook'em very well too. Mmmmm, thinking of the freshly grilled fish from the PM jetties this past summer "lady snake" and "snake". Bro. you are in trouble now she is going to be doing the fishing and you will be over the grill. Again, congrat's "lady snake".
