We went out Saturday night to scout for signs of the flounder migration getting started. There were plenty of abandoned beds in 6” to 12” of water. We were out there a little early, but did spot one and my son scored our first gig of the season with this 15”-er. We also took some huge crabs which made a nice dish of grilled crab-stuffed flounder.

Nice, they are probably spread out a bit w/ the higher tides of winter. If you catch a good low tide on a dark night they should be starting to stack up in the staging areas very soon.
