Did not go to work today. Had to stay home to let the technician in to work on the cable. Of course when they tell you they will be there between eight and noon...you can count on it being closer to noon and today was no exception. Hated to stay home as we have been working overtime and the extra money is good. As soon as they were done I headed out the door figuring half a days pay was better than no pay at all. Front tire was flat. By the time I got it changed and got it fixed at Discount Tire it was 2:30 p.m. Too late to go to work.....so I loaded up the kayak and went fishing instead.

Wind was blowing so I figured I wasn't going to paddle to far. Netted up some mullet and went fishing. Well I hadn't been out too long when this blew in from the North.

This was the only picture that came out on my camera today. I hooked up the a cownose ray and tried to take some pictures. He was splashing around so much and just plain raising hell, the camera got soaked. That was my first cownose and he put up a good long fight.

Well after the squall line passed and the wind changed direction, I moved and set up in another location and ended up with these two puppies. Used my wife's camera when I got home.

Ended up being a good day after all. Just had to put some extra sugar in the lemonade Very Happy Very Happy

Longrod,

In case your camera bit the dust , here is the camera I bought just for my fishing trips. Works great.

This one works good too.. Drop proof and saltwater proof. It will record video and sound underwater. Only good for 33 feet. Good enough for fishermens
