I know I have seen a few post of people getting gas stolen from their vehicles @ Shamrock Cove. I mentioned it a few days ago to a friend @ work who's brother happens to be a police officer in Port Aransas. She text me today and said he pulled over a male and female leaving the Shamrock area and they seemed nervous when he asked what the 5 gallon bucket and cut off water hose was for in the backseat. The female had warrants and was arrested and the guy now knows they are on to him so y'all should be able to keep your gas in your tanks hopefully. Don't think they could press charges for havin the bucket and hose without catching them in the act or witnesses.

Problem is they also are stealing gas by drilling holes in the gas tanks of trucks and SUVs. Now, not only have they got your gas, but you have a large cost of replacing your gas tank to boot. Sorry SOBs! Mad

here is a little something i dreamt up...we should all start carrying a 5gal gas can fill the can up with water and add just enough gas to give it the good o gas smell. Once they dump that in their tank, then they have problems. he, he, he, Very Happy . just leave it in the back of your truck.

just remember gas floats on water, so be sure to put enough to cover the top layer of water in the can. its easy bait for the "not so brite". Twisted Evil

One word...DONE. Got that in the back of my truck right now. I had an old gas can I needed to throw out anyway. 5 gal - 1 gal of gas, 4 GALLONS OF WATER W/ SUGAR.

It's almost like hunting. Shocked Laughing

Lets' see how long it takes...
