Hi all,

I have two little girls and took them to Port Aransas Jetty last December and found that I couldn't take my girls to fishing because it looked too risky to take them into the jetty.

Looking at some folks picture, packery jetty seems to have nice and smooth walk trail. But I couldn't locate the packery jetty. If you can give me a direction to Packery Jetty from Port Aransas ferry, it will be really great. BTW, I live in Austin TX.

Go down 361 towards SPID.. There will be a left turn right before you get to the freeway.. thats the access to the north side jettys.. If you want the south side you take a left on spid and go down to whitecap. Take that left on whitecap and follow it around until you see a sign for packary park. I believe thats what it says somebody please correct me if im wrong. Follow those signs until you hit hte beach then take a left.. theres the south side jettys.. Good luck

From port A. go south on 361 turn right on Zahn road and follow it to the beach the north jetty will be down on the right about a 1/4 mile. To get to the south jetty stay on 361 south and turn left (only light) on park road 22. Turn left on whitecap blvd (2nd light). Turn left on Winward dr. Stay on winward until you see signs for packery jetty.

*** You will need to buy a beach parking sticker available at any of the stripes stores in port A or at the one at 361 and park road 22. I think they are $12 and are good for one year.

You mean turn LEFT on Zahn rd coming from Port/A.
