Anyone know what this thing is? i caught it at the first rig right off BHP. It had big side fins and kept trying to bite me. Its about 16"'s long.

| It kind of looks like an oyster fish. aka dog fish. But with the bright colors and huge pecs, it could be a sea robbin. |

Not sure, but it looks to be in the searobin and dogfish family for sure, and is most likely very poisonous. _________________ GOBZA!!!

I would say that it looks like some kind of scorpion fish. Very similar to a California sculpin which is a type of scorpion fish. _________________ michael |
