| Anybody tried these yet? I have used 5' Bass Assassins for years, but these look good. But, at $8.00 for 4, not a bargain. |

dad gum Old salt I knew you liked to fish big but it must be hard to cast a 7' (ft) gulp.
I have used the 7" (inch) gulp versus to catch some big reds. As for 5' (ft)long soft plastics ???? |

some old salts can't keep the fish stories from the bait stories. the rest of the story if told must be: using 7' gulp and catching 4" fish. what hoppen? _________________ ccbobber |

| I have been using them for almost a year when I found them at Cabellas. I caught some large trout and a few reds. They aren't that expensive up here in Austin. I was getting the tails bitten off the last time I was down so I took about an inch off and that did the trick. They also have a new gulp sand eel I tried but it seems to skinny to properly feed on a jig head. Anyone else try these? I am going to try them again on a regular worm hook. |

| Dang. Yea, I like catching big fish, but my shoulder still hurts from slinging those 5-7' plus plastics. I will scale down to smaller baits soon. |

I tried one of those at the Navy base pier with a salt water zebco reel and an ugly stick trying to catch gaftops and a freakin 5 foot Tarpon hit that baby and in a blink of an eye it went snapola and off she went flipping and shacking her head like crazy... they are good baits believe me.... _________________

Speaking of that guy - can you imagine the areas that he could wade? _________________ Save the seagrass......Shoot some ducks |
