IT looks really nice Bluffer let me know how you like it as i'm considering purchasing one, first i have to covince myself....do i really need a custom rod ? That would be a good poll...how many sport fishermen own or want a custom built rod ?

I have some serious custom rods. Aot of them are lowrider "style" with 3-5 inches missing off the tip, an oversized eye.

Its all the rage with the kids these days.

Might be able to hook you up with one if the price is right Laughing

What allwheel4x said. I'm not puttin' down anyone or anyone's work or business. Fishing rods are just too easy to build from the blank up. Even doing diamond raps is relatively easy, just time consuming, and adds nothing to the function of the rod. That doesn't mean that I don't like a nice looking diamond wrap. Best point: Doing it yourself it LOTS cheaper!

You know , if i get a custom rod it will be my first and i'm 51 years old, i think. I will more than likely get one from that Billy stix guy because he is a sponcer on Tyler's forum. I'm sure that Billy is tired of me beating around the bush, but i'm just that way. I still haven't measured my cork handle. But when i finally bite the bullet, i will bite it in half. Very Happy
