i was out there on thursday morning. Visibility looked maybe 1ft. However it was an outgoing tide and it looked pretty clean farther out.

I noticed the water in the channel is very clear on outgoing, even when the gulf is brown.. Like he said maybe 1 to 2 feet yesterday.. Let us know how you do. I want to film that someday.. I got all the stuff and just waiting for the time...After a front is the best...

That is NOT what I wanted to hear boys!!!

Oh well just have to keep waiting. I have really gotten into spear fishing over the past few years. I have been doing more of it freediving rather than with gear due to the fact that I am a terrible diver. I did shoot my first grouper in Mexico over the summer. Really cool.....

I really like jumping in when we are offshore. Shot tons of cuda's, a handful of ling. Now I want to shoot some palagics! I did shoot about a 10# dolphin offshore of Florida last summer and several chicken dolphin.

Hopefully get a wahoo or some tuna!!

Have to go out over 9 miles to get into federal waters.

even if you fish federal waters, if you are landing your catch in Texas, you must abide by state laws.
