I am posting this survey on the internet for those who have not had opportunity to respond on the pier. I apologize for the delay.

There are four questions that deal with primary concerns regarding regulations of the pier. You will notice that law enforcement issue is not one of the questions as it is a primary concern, has been voiced to the park board, and will continue to be stressed to the board.

If interested, please answer the questions. The park board is extremely interested in our input - let your voice be heard.

If possible, survey will remain through October 20. We will then tally results and give a summary and full survey to the park board for their consideration.

Please include name and phone or email with your response. Our purpose here is for the board to have a record of legitiamate responses so as to indicate we did not artificially supply information. If you would like, you can pm this information.

Cast Nets - No

Number of Poles - 2 per person actually fishing (but lets enforce it - that's what it is now, and the guys on the end always have 5 or 10 a piece, or there is an entire family with half a dozen 3 year old to 10 year old kids running around while Dad "watches" their shark rods)

Fee Increase for better facilities and ENFORCEMENT of RULES - HECK YEAH!

First, I want to thank all that are responding to the survey.

Second, yes, we have sent out a similiar survey with more information. The previous one was for the purpose of getting a general idea of everyone's thoughts. If you will note, only four items are being asked this time. There was a universal response to all other regulations; therefore, the reasoning for them not now being posted. In addition, these will be tallied for summation along with each individual's response to the survey.

Third, I need a phone number or email. I will not solicit or provide information to anyone other than the park board for verification purposes. In other words, so they know this is not artificial.

Keep them coming, and please do not forget to include phone or email. Screen name for this website will not work.

I have not checked with Ladyfish in some time, but I believe we have well over 100 responses to the survey.

I have recorded everyone's response over the thread onto paper which will be tallied next week, results emailed to the board, and all information given day of the meeting.

Ladyfish or I will post tallied results upon completion of survey.
