[The Trash Heap]

mastergunner made my day with a PM today. I was relieved to learn it wasn't the Lone Star Sierra Club's rally to protest the drilling equipment running up and down PINS beaches which he had seen leaving trash in its wake. No, it was another group which, when mastergunner revealed it, I'll agree has a reputation so bad that most other national environmental organizations want nothing to do with it.

My advice to him still stands, though. I will take it myself and not identify the trashers because, whether when dealing with lawyers or wackos, it would be best to have photographic proof before you reveal their crimes. mastergunner's reputation is a big gun, but you can never have too much ammunition.

Here's a thought. Seeing as the NPS doesn't seem to have the time to catch litterers, and considering that the beach, even in PINS, is a state roadway, why not take photos with visible license plate numbers of the worst offenders' camps and email them to the DPS? Fines for some of the grosser road littering violations go into the thousands of dollars, I hear.

Dang, missed an opportunity to punish a group that actually deserves the bad-mouthing every liberal-basher on this board hands out faster than you can say tree hugger.

They never did anything when my wife had her purse stolen at wally mart it was on film. They didnt do nothing. The crimanals have more rights than us good guys. Heck trashheap they will probably arrest you for invading someones privacy by taking pics of their trashy camp or worse. It would be just my luck.
