If you like rum try to find some of this in the states. I have only found it in the USVI, this is the best rum I have ever had. Smooth.

OK now that we're on the subject of rum....
Tortuga
151 proof
bottled in the Cayman Islands B.W.I.
The great thing about this rum is you have to go down there to get it...
But Not this week!!!!!

THE BEZT I EVER HAD WAS FROM MY GRANDFATHERS PRIVATE STOCK OUT OF WEST VIRGINIA. IT TASTED AS SMOOTH AND YOU COULD EVER IMAG'IN AND MADE YOUR SKIN CRAWL WITH EVERY WIFF. HE USE SUGAR, YEAST, CORN OR HIGHER QUALITY GRAIN , HAD SOME SECRET PROCESS HE USED ( I THINK IT INVOLVED SOME KINDA COOKING AND COOLO'IN PROCESS) , AND WHEEEEEWWWW WAS IT GOOD. HE'S LONG GONE NOW BUT MY LIVER SURVIVED. OH THE MEMORIES. _________________ I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD FISHING OR HUNTING TRIP, JUST ONES WITH DIFFERENT OUTCOMES. |

| Friend of mine brought back a bottle of rum from Belize back in the mid 80's. Called Maya Mellow. Ice, 3/4 glassful of rum, just enough Coke to give it color - tasted like Cream Soda!! Too bad he only brought back 1 quart. Also, Old Oak and Royal Oak from Trinidad were killer rums, but I don't think anyone imports them here. Could drink them all day and all night long with absolutely NO ill effects the next morning. Hmmm, I'm getting thirsty. |
