Got there at sun-up at the Bluff landing yak area so I could act like I was with JerryBs demo day & launch the Yak for FREE (more beer money)
Went to the north side of Pita & drifted all in there throwning Gulps under a mauler. Was lots of floating grass in that area, water had some visability but not much & a brownish tint to it. Not as green as it could be. Decided to try a silver spoon anyway & imediatly caught a 23in red.
But only managed one other 18-19in one later that was released.
To much grass in the water to work lures any at all. Called it a day at 11.
Launch spot before all the crowds showed up.
Something for the grill anyway.

Good pics Bluffer and nice fish. I will be going out in the morning and hope for a little of the same...without the grass of course.
