Some people say that I shouldn't post unless it's from Corpus and other people said they enjoy my posts from New Mexico, so here goes. Went up to Hopewell lake today which is about 30 minutes from the house. Elevation just below 10,000 ft. Threw gold spinners and wound up catching 35 rainbow trout today. The two biggest were 21 and 22 in. Release 34 of them. Had to keep one because if I released it it would have died. Here are a few pictures.

Post away, Zia. New Mexico, Flour Bluff, it doesn't matter. You're catching fish, and showing the proof.
[Although I'm not nearly as good in triangulating your pictures from New Mexico, as I am finding your "2 or 3 Minute Honey Hole" - based on your pictures - here in the Laguna!!] |

| If you triangulated my pictures from New Mexico it would take you 14 hours to get to it anyway. Lol |

| Cooler is right! Went down to 30 last night but it's going to go up to 65 this afternoon. 65 with 1% humidity is still shorts weather here. |

I saw it was seriously flooding in Pagosa Springs, on the San Juan the other day. I thought, great, that'll put some water in Elephant Butte. But I see it goes west, not into the Rio Grande. So, Amistad and Falcon will stay at drought levels. Enjoy your reports from wherever you are. TexasJim _________________ TexasJim
