Seems like every time I drive by the old game warden ramp on LS, it is vacant.

Is it still strictly for game warden use? If not, who was it rebuilt for?

I am confused by that ramp. No real parking area, congested traffic area for entering or exiting, no porta-potties, no bait, no fuel, no drinks, and no shade for whoever would work there. I think it is part of the boat storage area on Graham Road ("hey Joe, get my boat ready and in the water, fueled, batteries charged, ice and water and a 12 pack of Bud. We should get there about 10 a.m.")

WOW!!!! Does it come with a complimentary meal at The Lookout at Bluff's Landing? That's apparently right in line with their clientele base now. Rolling Eyes

I got the permit for them, yes, it's the Boatstop....I've only seen it used a handful of times....

and too bad about the The Lookout, it's closed too....that whole marina was a ghost town this past long weekend...sad to see these out of town owners running out the locals...guess they don't care about making local money...

While it was being built I spoke with the contractor and his explanation was the owner is a large corporation which I don't recall the name of, but they owned much of the land in the area and will be developing it to be used in association with what your seeing. All the more reason they don't have much parking, due to users being located locally. I googled the name and was able to read what their plans are for membership, and the $1,000 sounds familiar, but I'm not sure whether it was monthly or annually. Rolling Eyes

hello Sean and every one else on the forum. I called and asked about the new boat ramp /marina i was told that it is not officially open as it is not complete yet they still need to install a fish cleaning station a bath room/shower an ice maker it will then open. Rates are IMO ridiculous a $998.00 membership fee then $ 109.00 per month foe unlimited launches or $79.00 per month for two launches . When you do the math that $ 20.00 per launch at the end of the road dont look bad. Luckily i have other options. With a little luck i will be posting more often as my knee replacements are healing nicely and i can get back on the water.

FYI - They changed the policy at Bluffs for launching a boat. As long as you spend $20 at the store, the launch is free. Ice, bait, drinks, etc...

That is what the kid at the register told me a couple weeks ago AFTER he rung me up $20 to launch.
