Went out to some of my local spots about 10:00 a.m. Thought the water was going to be pretty stained with all the winds we've had lately but it was surprisingly clear. In the first 30 minutes I caught three non-keeper fish. A 19 and 1/2 in red and then a 24 inch trout and then a 25-in trout. When I started my motor to go back to make another drift I had to dodge six kayakers, three boaters and two wade fishers. I skirted the obstacle course and went and tried my two minute honey hole. Picked up five or six keeper trout over there and then decided to come home. Everything was released.

Nice going and thanks for the report.

Has there been any discussion among the "powers that be" about rescinding the freeze generated limits of three fish and 17" length minimum? I haven't kept up with the news.

The resource seems pretty healthy now.

I have never known of them to rescind any regulation once one is put into effect.

Allegedly, one more spawning season until the discussion restarts, although I'm with Zia on this one..
