...at least on weekdays when fishing isn't an option for me. I can always paddle the kayak into the bay after work and surf through the gale force afternoons. Granted, paddling back upwind to the truck is a chore, but it's making me a stronger paddler and is still more fun (in my opinion) than working out at a crowded gym.

No, not wrong. Just unusual. In my early 40's, I sailed 30,000 miles between Galveston and Venezuela in 38-foot boats. Definitely not for people my age now(mid 70's). Seeing your videos, I wish I could do that.

| Galveston to Venezuela is an impressive sailing adventure! I'm guessing weather and uninvited guests of the two-legged variety are the two biggest dangers in that journey? |
