Well, wife and I got on the trout yesterday evening. Holding in about 4-5 ft water on doa cal shads croaker color.. I wish I could figure out imagur so I could uploaded ad some pics. We had more than 6 over 25" all CPR. We kept enough to go ve her mom some fresh fish. Had the old RFL out got her 49.7 full load still runs like a beast. Looks like my st traffic had went south so I went north deeper slow drop offs near shamrock and Deadman. No one there don't know why fish were mullet were in serious danger. Not bad for 3 pm till sunset and a fast run in. Ran south just to cruise came back putting thru the no wake zone. Here comes a Mosca passes me on right closest to bridge piling. And jumps up on plant makes a hard left in front of me .... Go figure some people don't deserve boats... Oh well yahoos everywhere. _________________ Long time avid fisherman rod builder. |
