Surely some of you guys down south are using Keepalive oxygen equipment. I bought a Keepalive oxygen system mid-summer 2020. The regulator frozen up and failed within 2 months use. Have tried numerous times and different ways to contact Keepalive in Florida. They will not answer their by phone, email etc. about warranty replacement. I leave message about problem on answering machine and get no return call.
I really regret buying their aluminum O2 regulator. Had no idea there were so many serious problems associated with aluminum O2 regulator failures used in marine waters.
Any ideas on how to contact Keepalive or are they out of business and vanished?
Thanks |

I suggest you go to thehulltruth.com and post on the boating forum about your concerns. Very many of the posters there are from Florida, so maybe someone can help you more then any of us here.
Jack, since you probably can't search on THT if you are a new member I decided to search "Keep alive oxygen systems" to see what I could find and there are a lot of complaint on there like yours. Probably the most encouraging comment I found in my short review was there is a company which might be able to repair your regulator and they can be found as follows:https://www.krytox.com/en/applications/oxygen-services |

BayFly,
Thanks for the suggestions and the Krytox lubricant URL. No O2 comes out of this Keepalive aluminum O2 regulator and the dial is frozen and will not turn at all.
The Keepalive internet advertisement sounds great: Claims their oxygen regulators are manufactured to their specifications and their |

| One of the things I read on THT about the company is Cabelas was a distributor for the, but Cabelas has terminated their relationship for the same reasons you are experiencing. Hopefully there are some good companies out there who manufacture and sell good o2 regulators for bait users. |

I would call or go by SOUTH TEXAS TROLLING MOTORS IN THE BLUFF. They repaired mine with new regulator for around $ 135.00 for it. Got a new stone as well.
I always bring home a fill kitchen sink with warm soapy water and open it up wide open for a minute to flush out salt. |

I used Salt-away to clean my regulators for years as a guide I used the regulator every day.
http://www.saltawayproducts.com/
You can also buy a infant regulator on eBay for around $35.00 plus
freight. That was the only place I bought my regulators. Never had a problem
if you have someplace to put your regulator and oxy tank out of the weather
and use Salt-away it will last for years. I know.
I used a medical style regulator & tank.
