I saw someone rushing down Laguna Shores to the marina to launch only to learn the water remained to high at the ramp. I'm sure it will go down with a few cycles of the tide, but it may take a couple of more days.

it's a little known fact that the boat ramp at C&W's is open again...use at your own risk, but it's longer and steeper than bluff landing....

you can keep your tailpipe out of the water when you launch... Very Happy

I think I've done enough launching in high tides to say I do not care for it. Especially at Bluff's with that concrete divider being so shallow.

Becky is an old-timer. I think it is now referring to little wigglers

Interesting, every time I pass there, especially as I'm exiting Yorktown I look over there. All I can see at the water front is an old wrecked looking shrimper hull at what I thought was probably the ramp. However, I admit I've never driven in to see what was at the waterfront. Good to learn there is an alternative in the Bluff to launch without going far down Laguna Shores.

Is there a fee to launch a boat there? Seems like a much shorter drive and also closer to the backyard area.
