Got up early sat decided to head down and fish. Got in Rockport a little later than usual so if you fish there you know early bird gets the bait. After an hr got some bait headed to goose island and launched. Headed to eastern shoreline fished up and around egg point was was kinda dirty. Had one hit took some drag and come off. Headed to western shore working duck blinds and drifting. Thank you power pole for remotes lol... Well made it all they way uo
P to cavazos creek picked up 3 flounder along the way on DOA under popin cork. Caught some more small trout. A couple of blow ups on top water which i constantly keep rigged. Other than that a good day. Used more fuel in truck than boat always a good day .

Yep was a nice day. Water was real dirty south further north you got the better it was. Lots of bait fish. Just had to work to get what we got. Im headed south port isabel middle week keeping an eye on ron hoover tournament for oct. Crossing my fingers praying to baby jesus n all. [/list]
