Watch out. The "weather guessers" report that there will likely be two hurricanes in the Gulf next week. One headed to Texas and one crossing Florida around Miami and the Keys and the hitting the central Gulf coast. _________________ Gary J

Houston or further east. Invest 97. "Laura" will skip through the Caribbean and make CONUS landfall near MS/AL border. Invest 97 is still one to watch though. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |

Still pretty early to rule out CC. Even NW Gulf doesn't help the fishing and water conditions. _________________ Gary J

Didn't say it was to dismiss, as it is one to keep an eye on. But there's a high pressure system east of the Carolinas that's sucking it HARD. I bet Houston or further east, like western LA.
But yes - we should all keep an eye on it. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |

We were SUPPOSED to be heading to the Chandeleur islands out of Biloxi next Thursday!
We are watching this closely but I'm betting it ain't gonna happen! |

Latest American storm model has both storms hitting Texas coast from Galveston to Brownsville. Heads down Mon-Thur next week. In fact there is talk of TS Laura actually stalling before she hits. _________________ Gary J

Lots of uncertainty with Laura, one guesser has it coming west with landfall between Galveston and Corpus right after Marco. gota keep an eye on both

Sure hate to hear any mention of Western Louisiana being a possibility, because that includes Eastern Texas. That area has been so beat up by Ike and Harvey, mostly from the flooding, I'm not sure they can weather another one of any magnitude. However, if I haven't learned anything else from my extensive hurricane experience, it's that no one knows what they are going to do until the last few hours before land fall. I remember Ike was going to hit Port A and by the time I drove to Port A to pick up my boat and was on my way North Ike turned and went to Galveston! An owner of a large offshore powerboat moored in Port A was so convinced it was going hit Port A he drove his rig across the GOM to Galveston where it was thrown up on the land by Ike and substantially damaged! When I come back for my next life I want to be a weather forecaster, because they rarely get it right, but always have a job! |

But even if no one really has much of a guess of where these storms are going, lets close PINS - Sunday morning at 08:00 am. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |
