Access Rd. 6 had the 'Berm of Death' removed, and it's wide open all the way down to PINS north beach. There has been quite a bit of trash removal/congregation, so no major issues to driving. The most surprising thing was nearly every mile marker the County put in a few years ago (that mainly survived Harvey) are all gone/washed up at the base of the dunes. It was nice to get down the beach this am.
The menhaden fish kill that has gone on for the past week or so from Port A south has made it to Packery, but I didn't see anything south of Bob Hall. Water looked great, tons of birds working, and a weird north breeze and a nice shower for late August!
