Found this drone video of BHP during Hanna on TKF; very interesting video by Live Storm Media.

Takes a hell of a drone pilot and a drone to film in those conditions. Nice footage, but still saddening.

We dealt with one similar to this when we did our 3-year exercise at the airport; we experienced a storm that delayed our activities by about 30 minutes...that drone would correct ITSELF in the weather, stable as can be in 40+ gusts.

We have drones for work that can handle those winds, but the boss won't let us take them up in them because of loss and other issues. Says the insurance and county won't cover it. LOL I think its because he can't fly like we can. Although since he decommissioned my last bird I have not flown one in months so he is prob gonna out do me now LMAO.

Karen's wrath knows no bounds. That was made clear when she got Aransas, Kleberg, and even PINS to follow her BS 'timeline'.

I thought the whole idea of those removable panels was that when a storm came they could remove them and avoid major damage?
Did some maintenance department drop the ball on this one?
Why were they left in place?

They said they are removable, but it takes up to 36 six hours to do so. This storm grew out of nowhere!!

I wished lol but the Sheriff holds my commission LOL. Last bird was decommissioned after a parts failure that caused it to crash. Now have a new bird but he wants to play with it first LOL.
