Went out this morning about 9 and workef my way all the way over into nighthawk. No clean water anywhere. 1 foot visibility at the best. Looks like brown tide by the coloring. One 14 inch trout. came home get some more work around the house. Had to pull out some frozen trout for fish tacos for tonight.

I appreciate your reports for many reasons, one being that they often provide water quality info that helps me decide where to launch my kayak to fish. My launch site for tomorrow has been changed after reading your report for today. Going marshing rather than open water.

Good thing I didn't go in the bay yesterday, the surf has been thick with trout in the mornings on top-waters these past few days ( if you don't mind making the walk and fighting the mosquitos Very Happy )

Weird the bay is like that. My GF went to the "only" beach you can park at last weekend and sent me pictures and video of how crystal clear the water was in the surf...can see schools of mullet in each wave clearly like 4k UHD. Anyway, I'm off tomorrow - gonna take a scouting trip. Might put a line or two out (if I don't have to walk far or pay too much) I hope Karen gets slapped in the face by the TOBA... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing ...and then voted out as icing on the cake.

Actually I don't have that much fish in my freezer. What I do is catch and release. I keep some around for emergencies like tonight and I give a lot away to friends

Neighbor went out today, Friday, and got a couple of dinks hardheads and perch. Water ugly. I was able to do something more productive. Volleyball season has started and I reffed 3 hours today. Hopefully the season will be able to go to completion.

Thanks for the report Superman. I will have to show my son that even you are human and do not always catch keepers. I wanted to post a non report 6 weeks ago from Rockport but he insisted not too. I did let the big one get away. After 3 nights of fishing and catching only hardheads, gaftop and dinks I dropped a croaker under the dock. As we were loading up to leave the heavy duty pole fell off the bench and scooted across the dock. The fish stayed down the whole time like a stingray or huge flounder. Lost him within a few feet of the net but never saw him since the water was so dirty.

We were able to have a fish fry from a previous trip as well.

hope all the people that were parked all up and down our street today caught some fish. There are so many boat trailers and trucks that I couldn't even back out of my driveway without making multi attempts so I wouldn't hit the vehicles behind me. And that was early this morning. When I got back from refereeing volleyball early this afternoon the vehicles were two and three deep all up and down the block. I've never seen it that thick with vehicles
