For those that knew Rudy aka Torpedo, I received the sad news that he passed away this morning. He had been in hospice since May. He had been receiving chemo for the past 5 yrs (?) and he ultimately succumbed to the invasion in his body. My condolences to his Corpus Fishing friends, Team Oso Friends and especially his teen aged son and daughter and all other family members.

I didnt know him but that's terrible news. My heart hurts for his friends and family.

I actually lost one of my best friends yesterday as well. Got diagnosed about 6 months ago, had chemo and radiation, put in hospice yesterday and gone last night. Cancer SUCKS!

Rudy was a long time friend and an administrator on this forum. I don't have the heart to take him off of admin duties. I am so heartbroken.

I felt the same way about Rabblt and Bluffer. They were both weigh masters for our Team Oso Tournaments. We left their names on the list with the suffix "Emiritus".

Hope I don't seem overbearing but I googled an old group Rudy helped start here in SA and was surprised it still exists on Tapatalk.I thought I'd share with CC Fishing. Some good info, tips, and a couple of stories. Unfortunately pics are mostly outdated and no longer accessible. Here ya go:
